2010 TEMPORARY REVOCABLE LICENSE RULES AND REGULATIONS Show management 516-442-6000. Mall security # to be announced. When you arrive at the show you must must show us your Sales Tax Certificate.
If
you wish to use the same Certificate for New York and New Jersey you
must mail Form DTF-24 to the Sales Tax Department. To order Form DTF-24 call 800 462-8100. The certificate is FREE. Bring your own tables.
Your tables must be covered with a black trade show quality
material that reaches the floor on all four sides of every table. Table covers are available from show management for $30 each.
All
of the spaces are located in the Mall’s 3 Show Courts.
All
spaces are the same price regardless of size or location.
Set up the night before the Show when the Mall closes at 9:30pm. Directions to
loading zone to be announced
You may
not have any hand carts or dollies on the floor of the mall at any time the
mall is open for business.
All of your back-up stock, jackets and coats, accessories such as pocketbooks
must be stored under your tables not visible to the shoppers.
All of your signs must be professional in appearance.
Although you may leave your display and merchandise overnight it is agreed that
neither Simon Property Group nor Nassau County Craft Shows is responsible.
24 hour security is at the mall.
All spaces rented on a first come basis.
In order to
guarantee a specific location you must rent for all 2010 Shows at Menlo Park
Mall.
Merchants are prohibited from selling any item not listed on the Vendor
Application.
The appearance of you and your employees contribute to creating a positive
image of the Show to the customers.
You must provide competent personnel who are friendly, neat in appearance, and
dressed in a professional manner.
Under no circumstances should you or your employees get into a confrontation or
argument with anybody.
If a potential problem occurs, notify craft show management or mall security
immediately.
Merchants shall not solicit or 'hawk' shoppers.
You are required to keep your selling area clean and free of debris throughout
the day.
Cardboard boxes and trash are to be stored inside your selling unit until it
can be properly disposed.
You are required to take your trash away with you at the end of the selling
day.
Do not use mall trash bins to dispose of any of your items, particularly
cardboard.
The maximum height limit for any retail display is 6 feet.
Whereas "Vendor") is and will be leasing certain space from
Nassau County Craft Shows (NCCS) pursuant to an agreement for Craft & Gift
Show, Vendor and NCCS agree:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend and
hold harmless NCCS and it employees, associates, and/or Managing
Agent(s) from any and all claims, suits, damages, liabilities, professional
fees, including attorneys' fees, costs, court costs, expenses and disbursements
related to death, personal injuries or property damage (including loss of use
thereof) arising out of or in connection with the performance of the work of
the Vendor, its agents, servants, Vendors or employees, or the use by Vendor,
its agents, servants, Vendors or employees of facilities provided by NCCS
and/or Managing Agents. This agreement to indemnify specifically
contemplates full indemnity in the event of liability imposed against NCCS
and/or Managing Agent(s) without negligence and solely by reason of statute,
operation of law or otherwise, and partial indemnity in the event of any actual
negligence on the part of by NCCS and/or Managing Agent(s) either causing
or contributing to the underlying claim. In that event, indemnification
will be limited to any liability imposed over and above that percentage
attributable to actual fault, whether by statute, by operation of law or
otherwise
