When you arrive at the show you must must show us your Sales Tax Certificate.
If you wish to use the same Certificate for New York and New Jersey you must mail Form DTF-24 to the New York State Sales Tax Department. To order Form DTF-24 call 800 462-8100. The certificate is FREE. If you wish sell only in New York: The application for the certificate is Form DTF-17. 1-800-462-8100. Their Fax-on-demand forms phone # is 1-800- 748-3676 The Certificate (not a copy) must be displayed at your space. If you post signs, they must be professional and framed and state the full
price with tax included. You must charge sales tax for every transaction. You must give a receipt for every transaction. Every receipt must state the amount charge for the item and the amount charged
for sales
tax. Copies of every transaction must be saved at your space. Your Sales Tax Certificate must be clearly displayed at your rented space.
